Recent rains in Istanbul have significantly increased water levels in the city’s reservoirs. According to the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (ISKI), the average reservoir level has reached 40.48%, continuing to recover after falling to 17.12% on December 7, 2025.
Since the beginning of the year, 207.36 mm of rainfall has fallen across the city’s water bodies, boosting reservoir levels by 6.75% over the past 14 days.
