A new phase of urban transformation has begun in Alanya

A new phase of urban transformation has begun in Alanya

The municipality of Alanya has implemented important changes as part of the Şehirsel Dönüşüm program, aimed at improving the efficiency and transparency of urban modernization processes.

Key changes:

Transition to an electronic notification system
From now on, all notifications related to urban transformation projects will be sent to property owners electronically. After submission to the Land Registry Department, project information will also be posted on the building. Sending paper notifications is no longer mandatory.
Important: Property owners, especially those living abroad, need to regularly check the email address registered with their property title to avoid missing important messages.

Simplified decision-making process
Previously, a general assembly of all property owners was required to initiate a project and select a contractor. Now, the consent of 50.1% of owners is sufficient. This change significantly simplifies and speeds up the process, reducing bureaucracy.

Recommendations from the municipality
Property owners are advised to stay in contact with management companies and closely monitor updates related to their properties.

Detailed information about the new procedure can be obtained on the official website of the Alanya Municipality or from the Land Registry Department.
