Foreigners purchased housing worth 42 billion dollars in Turkey

Real estate sales to foreigners in Turkey is increasing every year by year. So, over the past 15 years, foreigners in Turkey purchased real estate worth 42 billion dollars.

According to the report of the Consortium of Fuzul Group companies, in the last 5 years, more than 99.5 thousand housing units were purchased in Turkey.

Also, the report emphasizes that has been a significant increase in sales of real estate this year. Since the beginning of the year, foreigners have purchased apartments and villas in Turkey by 20%more than in the same period last year.

The growth is facilitated by various incentive measures, which the government of Turkey is undertaking. For example, recently, the cost of TAPU (title deed) has been reduced to 3%, and the discount is valid until October 31st, 2018.
