Foreign buyers of real estate in Turkey intensified

This April, more than 2 thousand real estate objects were sold to foreign citizens in Turkey.
And this is 26%more than April of last year.

According to the Institute of Statistics of Turkey (TUIK), most of the property is purchased by citizens of Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait, and Russia.

The most popular regions and cities are Istanbul, Antalya, and Bursa for many years in a row. Note that there were fewer transactions involving a mortgage loan in April – the number of such transactions decreased by 35.6%. Specialists say that citizens of Turkey and other countries have become more likely to pay for the purchase of full amounts or purchase apartments and villas with installments.

In April, more than 103 thousand real estate objects were sold in Turkey.
