Erdogan rolled Yildirim with a breeze

Last weekend, in Istanbul, the official opening ceremony of a new automobile tunnel and car interchange happened.

The underground tunnel connected areas of Kasimpasa and Haskoy. The tunnel is more than 1300 meters long and it’s a four-lane, modern highway. The president of Turkey, Recep Erdogan also participated in the opening ceremony of the new tunnel. He didn’t only make a speech, he also personally rolled on the tunnel, sitting in his car. As a passenger, Turkish Prime Minister, Binali Yildirim also delivered a speech.

Recall that the construction of the tunnel was carried out in 2014.

Also, a new car interchange was opened in Istanbul, the length of which is almost 4 kilometers. It will greatly facilitate the movement on a difficult stretch of the road in Beyoglu district.
