Cruise tourism is gaining momentum in Turkey

Cruise tourism is gaining momentum in Turkey

A huge cruise ship has arrived in the Turkish port of Bodrum which is located in the Mugla province. The Marella Discovery-2 liner brought tourists from the UK.

There were more than 1800 travelers and 754 crew members on board. Tourists went to see local attractions and purchased souvenirs in Bodrum. The liner, which is 264 meters long, will arrive at the port of Bodrum five more times during the holiday season.

It should be noted that Turkish authorities are paying special attention to cruise tourism now. For each tourist that arrives in Turkey by sea, a certain amount is being paid to travel companies. Cruise tourism is a profitable and promising direction for Turkey since the country is surrounded by four seas.
