Cappadocia to host season's biggest cycling event

Cappadocia to host season's biggest cycling event

Officials are now preparing for a huge cycling event in the area of Cappadocia, which is included on UNESCO's World Heritage List and one of Turkey's favorite tourist destinations.

The event will appeal to both amateur and professional bikers with various biking trails offered according to different cycling abilities from Sept. 13-17.

The Salcano Cappadocia Bicycle Festival offers camping and cycling activities in addition to social gatherings. Every year, roughly 1,000 people travel to Cappadocia and convene to be a part of this mega organization.

The festival, which offers entertaining activities for amateur cyclists as well as professional athletes, is ideally suited for those who seek adventure and wish to experience the region's natural beauty and history.

It aims to emphasize the sympathetic, peaceful, connective and eco-friendly side of cycling while creating a melting pot for different cultures.

To be a part of one of the biggest cycling events of the year, do not forget to register beforehand.
