Antalya has the most "Blue Flags" in the world
The annual ceremony of the "Blue Flags" awards was held in Copenhagen, Denmark recently. Traditionally, countries and regions where the most beautiful and clean beaches of the world are located were celebrated.
The Antalya region is in the first place not just in Turkey, but in the whole world. 194 beaches of the coast were awarded "Blue Flags".
Moreover, the second place is taken by Algarve/Portuguese, which has 84 beaches with "Blue Flags", and the third place goes to Costa Bianca in Spain where 62 beaches are marked with "Blue Flags".
Recall that "Blue Flags" are given to the most environmentally friendly beaches that are equipped with all the necessary things and the most beautiful beaches of the world.
By the way, among the countries, Turkey is on the 3rd place.
