A robot will be arriving to Turkey, a citizen of Saudi Arabia

In spring, the first humanoid robot, which has citizenship will be brought to Turkey.

The robot is named Sophia and it will arrive in Istanbul in spring to take part in the 5th Marketing Meetup, 2018.

Sophia was designed by the Hong Kong company – Hanson Robotics, and was activated in 2015. The robot is similar to a woman, its capable of learning, can respond to simple questions on its own, also simulate more than 60 human emotions and recognize faces.
Sophia already has visited many countries. And last year in Autumn, it granted the citizenship of Saudi Arabia.

Now, she is the first robot in the history that has citizenship. Sometimes Sophia is still confused in answers and responds with meaningless phrases when she talks to reporters. But sometimes her statements are as accurate or unusual that they cause a wide resonance in society.

What will Sophia say in Istanbul? Well, that can only be known on April 19th, when an interview with a miracle of technical progress is planned.
