650 thousand permanent foreign residents living in on the territory of Turkey

Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) released new data. According to the data, at the moment 650,308 foreign residents living permanently on the territory of Turkey. This information is based on issued amount of long term residence permissions. Most of the permissions have been issued to the citizens of Iraqi, totally 93 697. On the second place German citizens – 68 873 persons, on the third place residents of Syria – 56 647 persons. 

In Antalya region at the moment lives approximately 55 thousand foreign residents, 20 thousand men, and 35 thousand women. On the first place citizens from Russia – 9 thousand, German – 5 thousand, Ukraine citizens are on the third place, with a number of residents of Antalya - 4,5 thousand persons. 
Other nationalities, who have chosen Antalya as their new home coming from Kirgizstan, Great Britain, Uzbekistan, Georgia and Iran.
