В Турции нашли лекарство от депрессии

Турецким ученым удалось найти лекарство от депрессии. Причем такое, которое не имеет побочных эффектов. Открытие сделали специалисты университета Улудаг. Они выяснили, что молекула вещества Gly-Gln, что расшифровывается как Глицил-Глютамин прекрасно справляется с этим недугом.

В отличие от большинства антидепрессантов, которые используются в современном мире, Gly-Gln не имеет никаких побочных эффектов. Молекула помогает выработке гормона серотонина, который еще называют «гормоном хорошего настроения». Он оказывает положительное влияние на деятельность нервных клеток.

Ученым уже удалось получить лицензию ЕС на свое изобретение. В ближайшее время клинические испытания будут продолжены.
