Турция — мировой лидер по туризму

Турция остается одним из самых востребованных и популярных туристических направлений в мире. Об этой заявил генеральный секретарь Всемирной туристической организации (UNWTО) Талеб Рыфаи.

«Я по меньшей мере раз в год посещаю Турцию и могу сказать, что каждый раз чувствую себя в этой стране в безопасности. При этом я не слышал, чтобы кто-либо жаловался на проблему безопасности в Турции», — подчеркнул Рыфаи.

Кроме того, генсек UNWTО отметил, что в последнее время в мире отмечается рост числа туристов. Так, только за прошлый год, общее количество туристов выросло примерно на 4%. Миллиарды людей, несмотря ни на что, ежегодно совершают путешествия из страны в страну. А сфера туризма для многих стран все чаще становится одной из важнейших областей экономики.
