Гёбекли-тепе хотят внести в Список мирового культурного наследия ЮНЕСКО

Гёбекли-тепе — это археологический комплекс, который находится на Армянском нагорье, на юго-востоке Турции.

Постройка считается древнейшим в мире храмовым комплексом. В настоящее время подана заявка на внесение Гёбекли-тепе в Список мирового культурного наследия ЮНЕСКО. В случае, если Гёбекли-тепе попадет в список в будущем году, данный храмовый комплекс станет 18 по счету объектом, который внесен в Список мирового культурного наследия от Турции.

В настоящее время в Гёбекли-тепе проводятся раскопки, которые длятся уже более полувека. За это время в храмовом комплексе было найдено множество уникальных артефактов, включая скульптуры, изображения людей и зверей и пр. Находкам более 12 тысяч лет. В следующей году раскопки планируется завершить.
