В Турции создали "Карту биоразнообразия"

В рамках национального проекта по инвентаризации и мониторингу биоразнообразия, запущенного Министерством сельского хозяйства и лесного хозяйства в 2013 году, в Турции была составлена "Карта биоразнообразия".

Всего на территории страны обнаружено и занесено в картотеку 13.409 видов животных, рептилий, птиц и растений. В течение семи лет почти 1000 ученых составляла карту. Все виды подробно описаны, указаны ареалы их обитания и пр. Информация будет представлена на сайте министерства в свободном доступе.

В настоящее время в Турции начались работы по составлению карты с насекомыми, планируется создать ее за несколько лет.
