Tonight, Ramadan begins in Turkey

On the night that connects 15^th and 16^th May, the holy month of Ramadan will begin in Turkey. This is one of the most revered holidays in the Muslim world. Muslims fast whole month, alcohol is banned, and food will be eaten only after sunset. True, recently such a tradition is not so strictly observed. Ramadan will end on June 14^th on the day of Arifa. And after June 15^th another holiday as a feast after Ramadan will be held – Seker Bayrami.
