The minimum wage for 2024 has been set in Turkey

In Turkey, the topic of the minimum wage for 2024 has been a subject of discussion over the past month. On Wednesday evening, the government finally made a decision, announced by Turkey's Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Vedat Bilgin.

According to his statement, the minimum wage in Turkey from January 1, 2024, will be 17,002 lira (approximately $580).

The minimum wage in Turkey has been increased by 49%. It should be noted that throughout the next year, the minimum wage will not increase further; it will remain fixed for the entire year of 2024.

Representatives from various business sectors have already expressed their approval of the increase in the minimum wage, noting that it will positively affect the well-being of the people, particularly their purchasing power.
