Turkish Companies to Access €2.6 Trillion EU Public Procurement Market

‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌ Turkish manufacturers will be able to participate in European tenders thanks to Turkey’s inclusion in the EU “Made in Europe” initiative, announced Turkish Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat.

The move is part of the Industrial Accelerator Act, an industrial policy project presented by the European Commission on March 4. The initiative gives priority to products made in Europe in strategic sectors, opening new opportunities for Turkish companies in the EU public procurement market valued at over €2.6 trillion per year.

According to Bolat, participation in the program will help strengthen the position of Turkish manufacturers and expand collaboration with European partners.
