Travel from Antalya to Istanbul for 4,5 hours

A trip from Antalya to Istanbul is going to be faster and easier. The construction of high-speed railway line Eskisehir-Antalya will be started this year. The railway will connect Antalya with Ankara, Istanbul and Eskisehir. New trains will reach the speed of 200 km/h and can transport up to 4,5 mil. passengers per year.
Construction of the new railway can reduce the travel time. Currently you need to spend about 12 hours in the bus to get to Istanbul. Construction of the new railway is planning to be finished by 2020. Second line to connect Antalya with other cities – the Antalya – Kayseri railway, going though Nevsehir (Kadaddokiya). Its length is 641 km.
