Turkey is actively integrating digital technologies into healthcare and has the potential to secure a leading position in the global AI market in medicine, which is expected to exceed $200 billion by 2030. This was stated by Turkey's Deputy Minister of Health, Şuayip Birinci, at the "Hospital Manager Workshops" meeting in Istanbul.

Turkey's Achievements in Medical Digitalization

  • Extensive experience in collecting and managing medical data.
  • Development of technologies for disease prediction and preventive treatment.
  • Implementation of virtual assistants and AI-powered chatbots for patient monitoring.
  • A digital healthcare ecosystem that surpasses many European countries in citizen integration.

Turkey continues to address existing shortcomings while avoiding major digital failures. The country’s innovations have been recognized as international best practices.

The success of digitalization is ensured by the collaboration of the government, private sector, and medical professionals. Support for initiatives such as e-Devlet facilitates further development.

"We will continue moving in this direction, making our digital ecosystem even stronger," said Turkey’s Deputy Minister of Health, Şuayip Birinci.

Turkey is confidently advancing toward leadership in AI-driven medicine, creating cutting-edge solutions for digital healthcare.
