Government Boosts Türkiye’s Gaming Industry with Strong SME Support
ANKARA – Türkiye’s gaming sector is gaining momentum, with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) receiving substantial government backing.
Over the past five years, 5,145 SMEs developing digital games have been awarded nearly 2.3 billion Turkish Liras in support payments from the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization of Türkiye (KOSGEB).
Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır highlighted the sector’s global growth, noting that the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) has contributed 863 million liras to 211 game development and digital gaming projects through innovation-focused programs.

Minister Kacır emphasized that with continued support and investment, Türkiye’s gaming sector is set to become one of the country’s most notable industries on the global stage.
