Turkey Residence Permit Fee Update Clarification

Recent discussions regarding changes in Turkey’s residence permit (ikamet) fee system have been clarified by official sources. The update does not represent a general increase across all nationalities.

According to the latest information, the adjustment applied only to a limited group of countries under a separate calculation system.

Countries affected by the updated calculation system

  • Serbia
  • Norway
  • Fiji
  • Northern Mariana Islands

These countries were included in a specific updated fee calculation structure.

The adjustment was limited in scope and did not introduce a general change to the residence permit system.

Important clarification

For all other nationalities, residence permit conditions and fee structures remain unchanged.
