🇹🇷 Turkey Updates Parent–Teacher Meeting Booking System

The Ministry of National Education of Turkey is preparing updates to the Veli Randevu Sistemi, the official platform used for scheduling meetings between parents and teachers.

The new system is designed to make communication between schools and parents more convenient, faster, and fully digital.

❓ What will change

  • Schools will be able to create appointment bookings on behalf of parents when necessary.
  • Parents will receive notifications via SMS and email regarding their appointments.
  • Appointments will be available through digital platforms such as e-Okul VBS Mobile, BiP OVA, and MEBİM.
  • Teachers and parents will also be able to hold online meetings without visiting the school in person.

📌 Purpose of the update

The new features are aimed at strengthening communication between schools and families, improving access to educational services, and making the overall process more efficient and modern.

The Ministry of National Education stated that the updated system will help organize meetings more quickly, increase parental awareness, and modernize interaction between schools and families.
