e-Nabız speeds up home healthcare services in Turkey to 3 days
Turkey’s Ministry of Health has introduced new regulations that significantly accelerate access to home healthcare services through the e-Nabız digital health system. Applications for home medical care will now be processed within a maximum of three days, with the first doctor visit arranged shortly after approval.
The updated system is designed to support elderly citizens, bedridden patients, individuals dependent on medical devices, and people who are unable to visit hospitals on their own.
Faster and fully digital application process
Under the new regulations, the application and evaluation process for home healthcare has been fully simplified and digitized. Requests can now be submitted either through the e-Nabız platform or via the Ministry of Health call center.

Who can benefit from home care services
The updated home care model covers several patient groups, focusing on individuals with limited mobility or special medical needs.

- Recently discharged patients requiring temporary care
Temporary care can be provided for up to 30 days, with possible extension up to 60 days depending on medical evaluation.
Stronger medical teams and social protection
Home healthcare teams have been strengthened with additional specialists to improve service quality and patient support.

- Interpreters and sign language specialists for communication support
- Security assistance when necessary
The system also includes enhanced protection mechanisms for vulnerable citizens, including identification of neglect or potential abuse cases, with mandatory reporting to social services.
Improving accessibility and reducing hospital burden
The reformed e-Nabız system aims to improve access to healthcare while reducing pressure on hospitals. Digital coordination allows faster response times and more efficient management of patient needs.
At the same time, the reform strengthens social protection for vulnerable groups, ensuring faster and more reliable access to essential medical care at home.
