Turkey has officially extended the Eid al-Adha holiday period, creating a longer national break following a decision announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

📅 Official Holiday Schedule
The standard Eid al-Adha dates remain unchanged:
- May 27 – First day of Eid al-Adha
- May 28 – Second day

In addition to the official holiday period, extra administrative leave has been approved for public sector employees:
- May 25 – Full day off
- May 26 – Half-day off
