New Changes in Turkey Make Obtaining and Renewing a Residence Permit Easier for Children and Parents of Investors

Turkey has introduced new regulations that significantly simplify the process of obtaining and renewing a residence permit (RP) for children and parents of investors.

Key Updates:

Children whose parents hold a residence permit in Turkey can now extend it until the age of 25 instead of 18.
Children of investors who have obtained Turkish citizenship are also eligible to apply for a residence permit until the age of 25.
Parents of individuals who have acquired Turkish citizenship through investment can obtain a residence permit for two years with the possibility of renewal.

These changes make it much easier for foreign investor families to reside in Turkey, offering greater opportunities for a comfortable life and long-term planning.
