Meta Prepares AI-Powered Smart Glasses for the Turkish Market

At Meta Connect 2026, Meta presented a new generation of smart glasses powered by artificial intelligence. The devices will be able to recognize objects in front of the user, help find products, translate foreign speech and interact with the personal AI assistant Muse.

Muse is planned as a full digital assistant that could help with shopping, travel, email and everyday tasks.

New Features for Smart Glasses

Using built-in cameras and artificial intelligence, the glasses will be able to analyze the user's surroundings and provide information while they are being used.

Meta also presented lightweight VR glasses capable of creating a virtual cinema screen and several virtual work displays.

Privacy Concerns

The development of these devices is also raising questions about personal data protection. Cameras and continuous analysis of the surrounding environment could lead to further discussions about the privacy of people who are near the user.

Important: Smart glasses use cameras and AI features to analyze the surrounding environment, making data processing and privacy important parts of the discussion around the technology.

When Will the Glasses Arrive in Türkiye?

Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta and some other models are planned to go on sale in Türkiye by the end of 2026. The exact launch date and prices have not yet been announced.

This means the Turkish market could become one of the destinations for Meta's new line of devices, combining the familiar format of glasses with personal artificial intelligence features.
