During the Eid al-Adha holiday, the famous Çal Cave in Trabzon became one of the most visited natural attractions in Turkey’s Black Sea region.
Located at an altitude of 1,050 meters above sea level, Çal Cave attracted thousands of Turkish and international visitors seeking a refreshing escape from the summer heat.
The cave is renowned for its impressive stalactites, stalagmites, underground stream, and small waterfalls, making it one of the region’s most remarkable natural landmarks.
Why Tourists Chose Çal Cave
Thanks to natural air circulation through the rock formations, the cave maintains a cool and pleasant temperature throughout the year. Visitors often describe the experience as walking through an open canyon, despite being deep underground.
A tourist route of approximately one kilometer is currently open to visitors, allowing them to explore some of the most scenic sections of the cave system.
