Alanya Expands Credit Support for Banana Farmers

Alanya Expands Credit Support for Banana Farmers

🌿 Alanya Strengthens Financial Support for Banana Producers

Alanya is entering a new phase of agricultural support as subsidized credit programs for banana and tropical fruit producers continue under the 2026 agricultural financing package. The Ziraat Bank will maintain lending support for farmers despite updated credit conditions.

📊 Updated credit conditions

Under the new regulation, farmers applying for subsidized loans must have no outstanding tax or social security debts.

However, an important exception has been introduced. For loans up to 400,000 Turkish Lira covering essential production costs, the debt-free requirement will not apply.

🌱 Agricultural financing support

Farmers registered in the Agricultural Registry System (ÇKS) or Livestock Registry System (ÖKS) will continue to have access to financing for greenhouse construction and agricultural production activities.

Special financial incentives are also provided for young farmers and female farmers, including preferential interest rates and credit limits of up to 3 million Turkish Lira .

📌 Conclusion

The new measures aim to strengthen the agricultural sector in the region and support banana and tropical fruit producers, particularly in greenhouse-based farming systems.
