Alanya – best resort destination on the coast of Mediterranean Sea in Turkey

Dutch travelers have chosen resort of Alanya as their vacation destination in 2016. The survey was held on the Nederland’s travelers portal. Over 6000 visitors took a part in this voting. According to the survey Alanya scored 8.6 pints out of 10 possible and got a prestige award - Reisgraag Awards.
Traditionally the award presentation takes place at the annual Tourism Fair, where have gathered all representatives of different resort towns, travel agencies and so on. This year Alanya was represented by the members of the found for the Support and development of tourism in Alanya (Alanya Turizm Tanıtma Vakfı, ALTAV) received the award and delivered it to the governor of the city Alanya, Murat Yücel Adem. As the mayor said, the city administration will make every effort to make a new summer tourist season even more successful.
Other awards winners: Booking.com (best booking site), the KLM (best airline), Germany (best restaurants), Austria (Top nightclubs), England (Historical Sites).
