15 new universities will appear in Turkey

The Republic of Turkey plans to create 15 new universities in the near future. A package with the relevant proposals was recently submitted to the parliament of the country.

The Minister of Education of Turkey, Ismet Yilmaz said tens of thousands of Turkish and foreign students will be able to get higher education in these new universities.

"We understand how important it is to get a higher education now, and today’s students understand this too. We have more and more people who want to study in universities. Moreover, the country is developing and we need high-quality specialists in all spheres, " said Yilmaz. 

It is planned that a package of proposals for the creation of new universities will be considered and approved by the deputies in the coming days.
