Türkei feiert Weltposttag mit speziellen Briefumschlägen und Postmarken

Die türkische Postbehörde (PTT) zelebriert den diesjährigen Weltposttag mit speziellen Postmarken und Briefumschlägen. Der Weltposttag wird traditionell jedes Jahr am 9. Oktober gefeiert, am Gründungstag des Weltpostvereins 1874.

Um die Bedeutung und den Erinnerungswert des Postversandes zu betonen und die Menschen wieder dazu zu bewegen, mehr selbstgeschriebene Briefe an ihre Geliebten zu versenden, fertigte die türkische Postbehörde auch dieses Jahr spezielle Postmarken und Briefumschläge.

Die für den Weltposttag gefertigten Sondereditionen seien kostenlos, die Versender müssten nur die Versandgebühr bezahlen.
