Rekord des Istanbuler Flughafens: 120 Tausend Passagiere pro Tag

Der Istanbuler Flughafen Sabiha Gökcen hat einen historischen Rekord aufgestellt. Über 120 Tausend Menschen haben in einer Nacht das internationale Terminal passiert. Noch nie hat der Flughafen an einem Tag so eine Anzahl von Passagieren abgefertigt. Seit Anfang des Jahres ist Sabiha Gökcen von mehr als 16 Millionen Menschen passiert worden.

Auch an anderen türkischen Flughäfen stieg der Passagierfluss. Für den gleichen Jahreszeitraum hat der Istanbuler Flughafen Atatürk mehr als 32,5 Millionen Passagiere empfangen, ein Anstieg von 84%.

An dritter Stelle in Bezug auf Passagierzahlen steht der Flughafen Antalya. Hier sind seit Anfang des Jahres fast 12 Millionen Menschen angekommen.

Im ersten Halbjahr flogen mehr als 97,5 Millionen Passagiere in die Türkei.
