Banken-Weltriese 'Bank of China' kommt in die Türkei

Chinesische Großbank ‚Bank of China‘ eröffnet in der Türkei.

Nach Angaben des Präsidenten der Behörde für Bankenaufsicht (BDDK) Mehmet Ali Akben wird Bank of China bis zum Jahresende ihre Aktivitäten in der Türkei beginnen. Akben zufolge würde China der Türkei große Bedeutung beimessen.

Weiter erinnerte Akben daran, dass eine andere chinesische Großbank, die Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) bereits in der Türkei arbeiten würde. Bank of China, die zu den weltgroßen Banken der Welt gehört, war in der Türkei bislang mit einem Vertretungsbüro präsent.
