Aserbaidschan ratifiziert Trans-Anatolien-Erdgas-Pipeline (TANAP) Abkommen

Erdgas aus Aserbaidschan für die Türkei und für Europa

Das TANAP-Projekt soll 2018 abgeschlossen sein und in erster Phase nach Inbetriebnahme 6 Milliarden Kubikmeter Erdgas dem türkischen Binnenmarkt zur Verfügung stellen, weitere 10 Milliarden Kubikmeter Erdgas sollen über die Türkei, über Griechenland, Albanien und Italien dem europäischen Markt zufließen.
Im Jahr 2023 soll die Gesamtkapazität auf 23 Milliarden Kubikmeter und 2026 auf 31 Milliarden Kubikmeter steigen. Die Kosten für das Mega-Projekt belaufen sich auf 9,2 Milliarden Dollar. Das aserbaidschanische Staatsunternehmen SOCAR verfügt über 58 %, das türkische Unternehmen BOTAS 30 %, und das britische Unternehmen BP 12 % Anteile.
