Choosing apartments in Turkey correctly

It seems that there is nothing complicated in choosing an apartment. But it only "seems" so at the first glance.

When you start thinking about where to live, how many rooms there should be in the apartment, whether it is important to have an Internet access, technology, what floor, and in the end what price an apartment has to cost, you realize that it's not that easy. That is, indeed you should consider some important things beforehand in order to make the right choice.

As you may know, the apartments in Turkey have their own particularities in planning, depending on the region. Also the choice of houses is great. Typically, in multi-story buildings, duplexes are located on the top two floors of the house (they are called duplex apartments). They all have large sizes. Most important is that the view to the sea is great. Note that the costs of those apartments are higher than other houses’ prices, offered in the same house.

Sometimes you can find special duplexes that occupy only the lower floors. Those floors are named the "zero floors" (the first floor for Russians) and the floor "minus" first. These apartments are much smaller because the buyers still prefer to rest on the upper floors, and other residents of a duplex apartment house located on the ground floor can give a lot of inconvenience to the residence.

So-called semi-underground apartments are highly popular among local buyers. They are popular because of their perfect insulation system. These apartments are very warm in the winter and much cooler in the summer, and therefore you do not have to spend extra money on air conditioning. Many enterprising people living in underground apartments often equip their houses with pool or exercise facilities. In the summer heat on the upper floors it’s almost impossible to do sport or exercise without shuttered windows tightly or air conditioning.

When buying an apartment in Turkey, the foreigners drew attention not only on the planning of the apartment. They are also interested in:

• The view from the window;
• Proximity to the sea;
• Availability of the pool;
• What beach is nearby;
• The distance to the beach or the town center;
• Shopping centres;
• Entertainment around the house or apartment.

Though we should say that the Europeans are mostly concerned about weather in the resort town where they buy an apartment. Many of us dream of eternal sunshine. Therefore, the ideal apartment for many people is one in which there is a large terrace with sun loungers.
